Reporting to the Lead Patient Service Representative, the Patient Service Representative(PSR) rotates between the departments: X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT, and Mammography. The PSR greets patients and visitors entering the department. The PSR generates and sorts exam requisitions, accurately enters exams into the HIS/RIS system. Must maintain a high level of patient confidentiality via HIPPA guidelines and be committed to Service Excellence at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Education High school diploma or equivalent requiredMedical Terminology course preferred.Previous coursework related to administrative skills preferred.
ExperienceOne year in a medical office environment preferred.Customer service, data entry, and HIS/RIS experience a plus.
Licensure and/or CertificationNone required.
