Position Overview The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the Store Leadership Team in managing daily store operations in the absence of a manager on the sales floor. This position primarily involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales. Shift Supervisors embody the brand’s values, engage customers effectively, maintain store standards, and foster teamwork. Key Responsibilities Support store management in achieving sales objectives by being actively present on the sales floor and setting a high-energy environment. Hold keys to open and close the store when required. Prioritize customer service and collaborate with Sales Associates to meet sales goals. Manage staff break schedules and ensure all zones are adequately staffed. Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance customer engagement and selling skills. Assist in maintaining merchandise presentations and store compliance with signage and displays. Address performance issues by escalating them to the Store Manager. Inspire team members to foster brand loyalty and create a positive shopping experience. Help with store security by checking bags and monitoring fitting rooms. Process return and exchange transactions, authorize discounts, and facilitate employee sales when management is unavailable. Ensure adherence to loss prevention policies and procedures. Represent the company positively and professionally in all interactions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of one year of experience as a key holder in a retail environment preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Availability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is required. Commitment to closing the store at least two times a week, including one weekend day. Proficiency with retail POS systems and inventory scanners. Able to handle American currency transactions accurately. Capable of executing tasks and projects with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive working relationships. Completion of the Shift Supervisor training program within three months of employment.
