Join AutoZone as a Part-Time Shift Lead, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing our team's productivity and customer satisfaction. You will support the Store Manager in leading our daily operations, ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for customers, and mentoring fellow AutoZoners in a safe and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel. Take charge of store operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager on assigned shifts. Help manage the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure timely service for commercial accounts. Delegate and oversee the execution of store merchandising tasks. Operate cash registers and adhere to cash handling procedures, including deposits and managing petty cash. Enforce all company policies and loss prevention protocols. Use ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or suggesting alternatives. Ensure a safe working environment while promoting safety practices amongst AutoZoners. Monitor cash flow, inventory levels, and security measures. Uphold sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards. Conduct opening and closing procedures reliably. Manage emergency situations and execute proper emergency protocols. Provide performance feedback on AutoZoners to the store manager. Engage with customers to resolve concerns and turn complaints into compliments. Process returns and manage inventory effectively. Communicate issues and concerns promptly and confidentially to the Store Manager. Motivate AutoZoners to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to sales and profits. Position Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. ASE Certification is a plus. Demonstrates a strong level of integrity. Exemplary communication and decision-making skills.
