About the Role In this position, you will provide outstanding customer service while ensuring efficient and accurate point-of-sale operations. Your goal will be to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers while handling transactions swiftly. What You'll Do Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs for products and services. Manage the checkout process by operating a cash register, scanning items, bagging merchandise, and processing various payment methods. Follow company standards for customer service to deliver prompt, courteous, and efficient transactions. Meet personal sales goals, including credit and loyalty program enrollments. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory by adhering to point of sale and merchandise handling procedures. Support the training of new associates, sharing best practices and essential procedures to meet our brand standards. Participate in daily operations, including cash balancing, supply replenishment, and maintaining a well-organized workspace. All associates are expected to: Act with integrity and foster a cooperative and inclusive work environment. Exercise good judgment and effectively communicate with team members and management. Maintain a customer-centric mindset by anticipating customer needs and resolving any issues that arise. Complete multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to company policies and safety regulations. Respond positively to the direction given by supervisors and contribute to a supportive team culture. What We’re Looking For: Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and pay close attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication skills. No prior retail experience necessary; we are willing to train! Must be at least 16 years old. Flexible schedule, including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
