About the Role As a Part-Time Retail Sales Team Member, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service during point of sale transactions and customer interactions. Your primary goal will be to provide a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. What You'll Do Welcome customers with a friendly greeting and assist them in finding products and services. Efficiently operate the cash register, scan items, bag purchases, and process various payment methods. Adhere to company guidelines for point of sale and customer service, ensuring courteous, fast, and friendly service. Meet or exceed personal performance goals, such as credit sign-ups and loyalty program enrollments. Contribute to inventory accuracy through precise execution of merchandise handling and point of sale practices. Support the onboarding process of new team members by sharing best practices and training in point of sale procedures. Engage in daily operational tasks like cash balancing, handling change orders, and replenishing supplies. What Skills You Have Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask and focus on details. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities. No retail experience is required; we are willing to train. Must be at least 16 years old. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
