About the Role Join our team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Representative, where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional customer service skills. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing unmatched customer experiences while ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the point of sale. What You'll Do Welcome customers warmly, assist them with product inquiries, and process transactions using a cash register, including scanning items and handling various payment methods. Follow company standards for point of sale and customer service to deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service to all customers. Aim to meet or exceed personal sales goals, including credit and loyalty program enrollments. Help maintain inventory accuracy through diligent point of sale and merchandise handling practices. Assist in training new team members by sharing best practices in customer service and point of sale procedures, while upholding Kohl's brand standards. Participate in daily operational tasks such as register balancing, cash management, and supply replenishment. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned. What Skills You Have Required Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently while keeping attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. No prior retail experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for newcomers. Must be at least 16 years old. Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience in customer-facing roles in retail or service industries. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and sometimes more with assistance. Capability to perform tasks such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, and pushing/pulling regularly.
