About the Role As a Part-Time Retail Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service during sales transactions while ensuring operational efficiency. You'll create a positive shopping experience for our customers through fast service and friendly engagement. What You'll Do Greet customers and assist them with product inquiries; operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and manage various payment methods. Deliver customer service by following company standards, ensuring friendly, fast, and efficient transactions. Aim to meet or exceed personal sales goals, including credit and loyalty program sign-ups. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by following procedures for point of sale and merchandise handling. Participate in training new team members on best service practices and point of sale operations, ensuring all activities align with our brand standards. Engage in daily operations, such as register balancing, cash management, and supply replenishment. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. What Skills You Have Required Strong customer service skills, capable of multitasking with attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. No previous retail experience necessary. Must be at least 16 years old. Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience in a customer-facing retail or service environment. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift over 50 lbs with assistance. Capability to climb, bend, kneel, and perform a range of motions as needed. Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift. Visual acuity to verify information and inspect merchandise.
