We're looking for a Retail Sales & Customer Care Specialists at our Rockford Resource Center! This position is the key point of contact for customers-members and the public at large, including in-person, phone, and e-mail interactions.

Hours: Part Time ( 15 - 20 hours per week)

Salary: $18.00 / hourly, non-exempt

Shifts :

11a - 7p (Tuesday & Thursday)

and Including 2 Saturdays a month, 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

or

9a - 5p (Wednesday & Friday)

and Including 2 Saturdays a month, 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Providing support on a variety of topics including membership, girl program, camp, product sales, volunteer support and retail sales Documenting interactions in our Customer Relation Management system Handling retail sales transactions and processing payments Creating a welcoming, customer-centric atmosphere in the resource center Assisting customers in-person, on the phone, via email inquiries, and with product needs Working with other departments to create knowledge articles Supporting camp site reservation process Are these skills you could share with our team? Excellent customer service Computer knowledge Willingness to learn our systems Ability to work varied work schedule, including weekends and evenings Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Travel within the Council area is required Ability to lift 25 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying Call center and/or retail experience (preferred) High School Diploma or equivalent Bilingual preferred but not required

Note: This position does require travel to other resource centers for coverage when short staffed, travel may be needed when short staffed.
