Your Day at Lowe's In your role as a Retail Sales Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe's, assisting them in finding the products and services that best meet their home improvement needs. Your daily responsibilities will include interacting with customers, helping them locate merchandise, processing orders and deliveries, and ensuring that their experience is seamless and enjoyable. You will spend most of your time engaging with customers, answering questions, and ensuring the store is organized, but your specific duties may vary depending on the department where you are placed, which could include Appliances, Hardware, Tools, Paint, and more. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and professional service. Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise. Restock shelves and ensure products are readily available. Accurately process orders and deliveries to meet customer expectations. Cross-train in different store areas to enhance service delivery. Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs. Guide customers through the shopping and checkout process. Complete other assigned duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience using a computer for data input and access. 6 months of experience with retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic. Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing and lifting. Able to lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with assistance. Preferred Qualifications 6 months of experience in retail and/or customer service. Bi-lingual language skills. Relevant certification in your department's trade.
