Your Day at Lowe's
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll welcome customers, assist them in finding the right products, and ensure their needs are met throughout their shopping experience. You might also occasionally handle merchandise or assist with loading items for customers.
Your responsibilities may vary by department, contributing to a dynamic work environment. Customer Service Associates work in various areas such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Hardware, Plumbing, and more, depending on store needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver friendly and professional customer service while welcoming customers.
Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
Restock merchandise on shelves as needed.
Accurately process orders and deliveries, ensuring timely customer satisfaction.
Cross-train in various areas of the store to enhance customer service.
Prepare merchandise based on customer requirements (e.g., mixing paint or cutting materials).
Guide customers through the shopping experience or checkout process.
Complete additional assigned tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months of experience using a computer for information management.
6 months of experience with retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
Able to stand, sit, and perform various activities as the job requires.
Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Relevant trade certification for the department of work.
