Your responsibilities will also include managing merchandise returns, exchanges, and inquiries to enhance the member experience. Business Awareness: Understand how to access and interpret performance reporting for your department. Recognize the link between consistent execution and positive business outcomes. Major Tasks: Effectively promote and explain BJ's value proposition, focusing on acquisition and retention of members. Engage and sell membership products energetically to new and existing members. Work towards achieving defined performance benchmarks. Provide members with clear information about membership options, including Co-Brand credit cards. Assist with the BOPIC (Buy Online and Pick Up In Club) process. Ensure all club policies and procedures are adhered to. Other duties as assigned, with flexibility to support various departments as needed. Regular and predictable attendance is a crucial aspect of this role. Qualifications: Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting goals. Basic math skills are preferred. Proficiency in computer usage is preferred. Environmental Conditions: Work primarily in a stationary position on hard surfaces, with occasional movements required to handle merchandise. Occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 30 pounds; assistance may be needed for heavier items. Work in a climate-controlled environment, occasionally exposed to cleaning agents. In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the starting pay for this position is $16.50.
