About the Role As a key member of our team, you will provide outstanding customer service during point of sale transactions and other customer service activities. Your focus on delivering an efficient and engaging customer experience will help us achieve operational excellence. What You'll Do Welcome customers with a friendly greeting and assist them with product selections and services. Operate the cash register, process transactions quickly, and ensure all merchandise is bagged properly while handling various payment methods. Adhere to company guidelines by executing point of sale and customer service standards, ensuring prompt, courteous, and friendly service. Meet or surpass personal performance goals, including credit and loyalty initiatives. Support inventory accuracy by following procedures for point of sale and merchandise handling. Help onboard new team members by sharing best practices in customer service and point of sale operations, while upholding Kohl's brand values. Participate in daily operational processes such as cash balancing and managing supplies. All associates are expected to: Act with integrity and honesty, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere. Use sound judgment when making decisions and seek assistance from supervisors when necessary. Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation by anticipating customer needs and resolving issues effectively. Efficiently manage multiple tasks within set deadlines. Follow company policies and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all. Receive and act on feedback from management and colleagues. Undertake additional responsibilities as required. What Skills You Have Excellent customer service abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with great interpersonal skills. No prior retail experience necessary. Must be at least 16 years old. Flexible schedule availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay Starts At: $12.50
