Your Day at Lowe's
In this role, your main responsibilities will include greeting customers, assisting them in finding products and services, and addressing their needs throughout their shopping experience. You will engage with customers, help organize merchandise, and ensure efficient order processing.
Your duties may vary based on the department in which you are assigned, including but not limited to Appliances, Flooring, Hardware, or Garden departments.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
Guide customers in locating and handling merchandise.
Replenish stock by identifying and filling empty shelf areas.
Accurately process orders to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
Cross-train in various store areas to enhance customer service delivery.
Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs.
Assist customers with shopping and checkout experiences.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months of computer experience for data entry and retrieval.
6 months of experience using retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Able to stand, sit, and perform necessary job functions as required.
Capability to lift 25 lbs unassisted or 26-75 lbs with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Certification in relevant trades (e.g., hardware, plumbing, electrical).
