You'll be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, and ensuring our store remains inviting, all while providing exemplary customer service. Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.50 | Year 3 - $21.00 | Year 4 - $21.00 | Year 5 - $22.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate relevant information to your direct leader. Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility. Complete other duties as assigned. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness throughout the store. Stock shelves and merchandise displays in an organized and attractive manner. Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their experience. Notify management about products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and any other pertinent issues. Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy. Comply with cash handling policies to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Efficiently stock shelves, ensuring fresh products are always available for customers. Follow merchandising planograms to create visually appealing displays. Organize new inventory and properly dispose of empty boxes. Operate machinery safely, adhering to all safety procedures. Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Stock Associates should be able to handle merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds and position products on shelves of varying heights. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Exhibit prompt and courteous customer service skills. Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards. Understand and apply company policies and procedures effectively. Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills. Work well both independently and as part of a team. Utilize effective time management skills. Have knowledge of the company’s products and services. For Cashier role: Efficiently operate a cash register and adhere to state/local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages. For Stock Associate role: Safely operate equipment including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Availability for morning shifts, starting as early as 5:00 a.m., is essential. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail experience is advantageous. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
