Key Responsibilities As a Retail Associate, you will: Welcome every customer with a friendly demeanor, responding to their cues and personalizing their shopping experience. Promote DSW's Loyalty program and assist in enrolling new members. Answer product queries and support transactions for both in-store and digital orders. Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment by managing the cleanliness of the store and ensuring products are well-organized. Assist with receiving shipments, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and performing inventory tasks. Utilize in-store technology to locate products and interact efficiently with customers. Adhere to company policies while processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with the Customer Experience Leader (CEL) to resolve customer service issues when they arise. Participate in team meetings and training sessions, remaining open to coaching and feedback. Required Skills Must be available to meet the business needs. Demonstrate professionalism, friendliness, and strong customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Comfortable using technology for customer interactions (Register, Calculator, etc.). Physical capability to stand or walk for most of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Compensation The estimated pay range for this position is $18.50 to $19.50 per hour, with final offers based on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and other factors.
