By joining our team as a Part-Time Phlebotomist , you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our donors and patients. This is What You'll Do: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations to uphold the highest standards in our operations. Provide outstanding customer service and a positive experience for all donors in line with our company values. Maintain a clean and professional work area for efficient operations. Verify donor identification and maintain confidentiality according to standard procedures. Prepare all necessary equipment and supplies for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures. Accurately label samples and units for collection. Perform venipunctures and plasma collection with a commitment to quality and safety. Operate automated plasmapheresis machines and respond to alarms and alerts effectively. Monitor donor conditions to ensure safety and comfort during the process. Manage the disposal of biohazardous waste while following safety protocols. Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of plasmapheresis machines. Report any unsafe conditions to management promptly. Keep adequate inventory and replenish supplies as needed. Drive training efficiency to ensure compliance and timeliness. Perform other related tasks as assigned. This is What It Takes: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Certification or licensing as required by state regulations. A minimum of three months of experience in a medical or healthcare environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer knowledge required; ability to document accurately and completely. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work during daytime and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
