We are currently seeking a part-time Security Officer for a manufacturing client site located in Rochester, NH . In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a safe and secure environment by conducting regular patrols, addressing incidents, enforcing procedures, and approaching every situation with professionalism, vigilance, and integrity. Current Opening: Part-Time: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property, while monitoring security cameras for any suspicious activities. Access Control: Manage entry points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the site, check identification badges, and maintain visitor logs. Incident Response: Quickly respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, assist in resolving issues, and report findings to management. Reporting: Keep accurate logs of security activities, incidents, and observations; prepare and submit reports as required. Emergency Procedures: Follow proper protocols for evacuations, medical emergencies, and critical situations, working closely with local authorities as needed. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all security policies, procedures, and regulations while conducting security checks to identify potential risks. Collaboration: Work closely with other teams and security personnel to maintain a unified approach to safety and security. Qualifications: Experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication, problem-solving, and observational skills; ability to remain calm under pressure. Security guard certification or related training is advantageous; a valid NH State Guard Card or the ability to apply for one is required. Physical capability to stand for long periods, patrol the site, and react to emergencies. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
