We are looking for a dynamic Part-Time Assistant Manager who will help lead the most vibrant store in the mall. You will partner with the Store Manager to achieve our sales objectives, recruit top talent, and develop a fantastic team. What You'll Do: Support the Store Manager in reaching sales goals—it's not just about the numbers, but they do matter! Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a collaborative and enthusiastic team to elevate the store's performance. Be the store's biggest advocate by promoting new products, engaging customers through social media, and offering services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Provide leadership to ensure operational excellence, balancing operations, delegation, and customer-first selling. Oversee shrink/loss prevention, payroll management, and associate scheduling. Communicate effectively with retail leadership to share trends and customer feedback. Analyze sales reports to develop strategies for achieving sales targets. Merchandise the store attractively, following planograms, and ensure timely promotional launches. In partnership with your Store Manager, nurture a high-performing team of customer-centric associates. What You'll Need: 1-2 years of retail management experience—your love for music and pop culture is a plus! A proven track record of leading teams to success; you possess strong communication, recruiting, and operational skills. Exceptional time management and professionalism along with a passion for team development. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a degree is a bonus. Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
