As a Part-Time Level 1 Assistant Manager at BoxLunch, you will play a crucial role in our success by supporting the store leadership team to provide an exceptional customer experience. You'll help fellow fans find the merchandise they love while using your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations to meet sales goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO Deliver an unforgettable shopping experience that keeps customers coming back, impressing them with your product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Step up when needed to provide leadership support on the sales floor during busy times. Take charge with store operations, including opening and closing procedures as required. Process sales transactions at the register, utilize your fandom expertise to drive add-on sales, and manage register close-outs, communicating any discrepancies to your Store Manager. Maintain a clear understanding of store sales plans, including comp sales goals and key performance indicators. Assist in planogram changes, including store layout, merchandise, and visual displays. Share your insights on fashion trends with management and HQ partners to keep our offerings fresh. Work alongside Store Management to prevent theft and ensure store security. Maintain an organized stock room and help keep the store clean and inviting. Contribute to building a collaborative and passionate team environment. Perform other tasks as assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED At least 1 year of retail experience. If you love philanthropy and pop culture, this could be the perfect fit! Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills with a commitment to team development. Must be at least 18 years old to join our team. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Ability to handle usual retail responsibilities, including navigating the store and lifting boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. The pay for this role ranges from $17 to $19.55 per hour. Please note that the starting pay may vary based on factors such as education, location, qualifications, and experience.
