Landscape Laborer Duties and Responsibilities Mow, edge, and trim turf areas, using powered and hand tools, Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges Plant, cultivate, and maintain vegetation such as flowers, trees, shrubs, and hedges Dig, spread, and level soil using shovels, rakes, and other hand tools Water and fertilize lawns and plants Clear debris and remove waste from landscaping areas Install landscape edging and borders Install hardscapes such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Operate and maintain irrigation systems Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment Landscape Laborer Requirements and Qualifications Knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment Able to work in various weather conditions Able to lift heavy objects Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
