Your Day at Lowe's
As a Customer Service Associate, your main responsibilities will include welcoming customers and helping them select the right products and services for their home improvement projects. The role will involve frequent interaction with customers, assisting them in locating products, loading merchandise, and ensuring all their needs are satisfactorily met.
You will primarily focus on understanding customer inquiries, answering their questions, and organizing merchandise. Your specific duties may vary depending on the department you work in, including areas such as Appliances, Flooring, Hardware, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide professional customer service.
Assist customers in finding and handling merchandise.
Restock shelves and ensure store displays are well-stocked.
Accurately process orders and deliveries.
Train across various store areas to enhance customer service.
Prepare department merchandise according to customer needs (e.g., mixing paint, cutting wood).
Help customers navigate through shopping and checkout processes.
Complete additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months of experience using a computer for entering, accessing, and modifying information.
6 months of experience with retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Able to perform tasks involving prolonged standing or sitting as necessary.
Capable of lifting 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.
Certification in a relevant trade discipline.

Travel Requirements
This role does not require regular travel, but occasional travel may be necessary for meetings, training, or supporting nearby stores.
Working Conditions
Conditions may vary by location, and you could work indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions, including heat, cold, dampness, or wind. You may also encounter constant or intermittent loud noises and may need to lift items of varying weights according to safety guidelines.
