Overview: The Village at Mercy Creek is a vibrant senior living community that provides Assisted Living and Memory Care services. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A's) to join our growing team and make a difference in the lives of our residents. As a C.N.A, you will play a crucial role in promoting the dignity, independence, and wellbeing of our residents. You will assist them with daily living activities, ensure they receive medication reminders, and engage them in social and spiritual activities. Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and providing medication reminders according to their care plans. Help residents with lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and ensuring safe transport to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs. Support dining room services during assigned meal times, including setup, cleanup, meal delivery, and feeding assistance. Monitor residents' physical and cognitive wellbeing and report any changes to the nurse and supervisor promptly. Deliver nutritional supplements to residents as needed and document their intake to comply with community policies. Engage in life enrichment programming to provide meaningful activities for residents. Document resident care accurately and in a timely manner. Perform additional duties as required and comply with all community policies and procedures. Position Requirements Education : High School Diploma/GED Licenses/Certifications : Certified Nursing Certification may be required in accordance with state regulations. Experience : 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors is preferred. Skills & Abilities : A strong ability to demonstrate patience and compassion when working with the elderly.
