As a key team member, you will operate registers, stock shelves, maintain the store's appearance, and assist customers, all while collaborating with your teammates. Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 4 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members and communicate key information to your direct leader. Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility. Perform additional duties as assigned. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in the checkout area and throughout the store. Stock shelves and organize merchandise displays to present a variety of products. Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers as needed. Provide constructive feedback to management regarding products, inventory adjustments, and any issues. Participate in inventory counts following guidelines. Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness. Follow merchandising plans to create appealing displays. Organize new inventory and manage empty boxes responsibly. Operate machinery safely while adhering to proper procedures. Physical Demands: Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service. Capable of performing general cleaning duties according to company standards. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal communication skills. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong time management skills. Familiarity with the company's products and services. For Cashiers, ability to operate a cash register accurately. For Cashiers, compliance with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. For Stock Associates, ability to operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jack and cardboard baler. Morning availability is required to support store operations, with start times as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior work experience in a retail environment is preferred. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
