Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $20.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $21.00 | Year 3 - $21.50 | Year 4 - $21.50 | Year 5 - $22.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with your leader. Ensure the security and confidentiality of all documents. Complete other assigned tasks as needed. Cashier Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness. Deliver exceptional customer service that enhances the shopping experience. Provide feedback on products, inventory counts, and any concerns to management. Participate in periodic store inventory audits and monitor inventory accuracy. Follow cash policies to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness. Implement merchandising planograms for attractive displays. Organize new inventory and manage waste materials. Safely operate machinery and adhere to safety protocols. Physical Requirements: Ability to remain active by sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking. Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to provide friendly customer service promptly. Willingness to perform cleaning duties to meet company standards. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and regulations. Excellent communication and time management skills. Knowledge of ALDI products is a plus. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail experience is preferred.
