Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $21.60 | Year 5 - $22.10 Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases and perform general cleaning duties. Stock shelves and maintain merchandise displays in an appealing manner. Deliver exceptional customer service to assist shoppers effectively. Provide feedback to management regarding products, inventory issues, and general operational insights. Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy in inventory management. Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and properly rotate products to keep fresh options available for customers. Follow merchandising guidelines to create visually appealing displays. Organize new inventory and manage the breakdown of empty boxes. Operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking throughout the store. Stock Associates must be able to lift products weighing up to 45 pounds and place them on shelves at various heights. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Proven ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Capability to perform general cleaning duties to high company standards. Adept at interpreting and applying company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal communication skills. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong time management skills. Knowledge of company products and services is a plus. Cashiers should efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy. Comply with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Stock Associates must be comfortable operating equipment safely, including electric/manual jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Morning availability is required for Stock Associates to support store operations, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred. A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
