As a healthcare professional serving the Veteran community, you will perform medical assessments for disability benefits.
Key Responsibilities Conduct Maryland CNC Tests and Puretone Audiometric tests on United States Veterans to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Review uploaded medical records during appointments to stay up-to-date with patient information.
Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) in the computer portal to provide crucial medical evidence for VA decisions.
Essential Qualifications Hold an Au.D. degree from an ASHA Accredited school to meet the required educational standard.
Be licensed as an Audiologist and currently practicing to demonstrate expertise in the field.
Work Environment and Schedule This part-time position features 1-1.5 hour appointments, Monday through Friday, without evening, weekend, or on-call duties. You will not be required to sell hearing aids.
