We are seeking a dynamic Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to lead our mission-driven, pop culture-centric store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and foster a collaborative environment. If you are a fan of both pop culture and philanthropy, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities: Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales plans and reaching comp sales goals. While sales matter, building relationships is key! Recruit, develop, and retain a dedicated team to manage the store effectively. Be the ultimate advocate for the store by engaging customers through product promotions, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Ensure efficient operations by balancing customer-first selling practices with sound business operations. Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and team schedules. Communicate trends and customer feedback effectively with retail leadership and HQ partners. Analyze sales reports and leverage data to inform strategies for sales improvement. Merchandise the store appealingly, following guidelines while launching promotions timely. In partnership with your Store Manager, help nurture a loyal and customer-focused associate team. What You Will Need: 1-2 years of retail management experience. A passion for philanthropy and pop culture is a strong plus! Proven leadership skills with an ability to foster team success; strong communication, recruitment, operations, and merchandising skills. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills along with a professional demeanor. You must be at least 18 years old to be part of our team. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a degree is a bonus. Flexibility to adapt in a constantly changing retail environment. Physical capability to navigate the store, manage merchandise, and handle boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
