Role Overview
As a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager, your primary focus will be to understand our customers' needs and guide them to find the best products. Your dedication to delivering exceptional customer service will contribute to a positive shopping environment and enhance overall sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exemplary customer service.
Support the store manager in achieving sales goals.
Train and mentor staff regularly.
Assist in operational activities.
Implement merchandising guidelines efficiently.
Help manage store inventory.
Enforce loss prevention strategies.
Ensure adherence to cash management protocols.
Follow opening and closing procedures diligently.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
What You’ll Need:
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to operate a cash register
Flexible scheduling commitment
Clear communication abilities
Time management skills to prioritize tasks
Basic math skills for discounts and calculations
Technical proficiency with Point of Sale software
Basic computer skills
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
1-3 years of retail experience
Supervisory experience is preferred
Education:
A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required. Additional formal education is a plus.

Physical Demands:
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds on occasion), and the ability to use ladders. Good hearing and vision are crucial for effective communication and tasks.
