In this role, you will play an essential part in our success by supporting the store leadership team and ensuring fans can access the merchandise they love. Your knowledge of fandom will also be invaluable as you help train new team members and assist in daily operations to achieve sales goals. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide a vibrant shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and enthusiasm for pop culture. Assist with store operations by stepping in whenever needed, including covering the sales floor and offering leadership in the absence of the manager. Open and close the store as required, ensuring operational security and readiness. Operate the register, process sales transactions, and utilize your fandom knowledge to enhance sales through promotions such as BOPIS and curbside pickup. Report any shortages or overages to the Store Manager. Be familiar with store sales plans, goals, and key performance indicators such as Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Dollar Transaction (ADT). Help with planogram updates, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising. Share your insights on fashion and music trends with management to keep the store fresh and appealing. Work collaboratively with management to prevent theft and secure the store. Support the maintenance of an organized stockroom and a clean store environment. Contribute to building a passionate team that works effectively together. Perform any additional tasks assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED At least 1 year of retail experience; a genuine love for music and pop culture is a plus! Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills, along with a commitment to developing your team members. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products with store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
