Join us at Hot Topic as a Part-Time Assistant Manager ! We are on the lookout for passionate music and pop culture aficionados eager to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will support the store leadership team in delivering outstanding customer service while helping fans discover their favorite merchandise. Your Responsibilities Deliver an engaging shopping experience that builds customer loyalty through your knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Assist in managing the sales floor and collaborate with store leadership as needed. Responsible for opening and closing the store, handling cash register operations and sales transactions. Drive sales by utilizing suggestive selling techniques and staying informed about store promotions such as BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand and track sales goals and key performance indicators like Units Per Transaction (UPT) and Average Dollar Transaction (ADT). Contribute to visual merchandising and enhance store layout as needed. Keep management informed about fashion and music trends by communicating insights effectively. Ensure store organization and maintain a clean stockroom environment. Foster a passionate and collaborative team atmosphere. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager. What We’re Looking For A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, ideally with a strong enthusiasm for music and pop culture. Excellent communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership attributes. A high school diploma or GED is required. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
