As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and supporting daily operations to meet sales targets. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills. Assist in managing the sales floor and support leadership when needed. Open and close the store as required, handling cash register operations and sales transactions. Drive sales using fandom knowledge and available sales benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand store sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT. Assist with store layout and merchandising updates. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ. Work with management to prevent theft and ensure store security. Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment. Support the development of a passionate, collaborative team. Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader. What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills. A high school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
