Overview Join to apply for the Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1 role at Hot Topic. We're looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, you'll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can access their favorite merchandise. You'll use your fandom knowledge to train new staff and support daily operations and sales goals. Responsibilities Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills. Assist in store operations, stepping in to support the sales floor and leadership as needed. Open and close the store, handling key responsibilities responsibly. Process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and manage register operations including closing out and reporting shortages or overages. Understand sales plans, KPIs such as UPT and ADT, and contribute to meeting sales targets. Assist with planogram updates, store layout, and merchandising. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ. Work with management to prevent theft and ensure store security. Maintain organized stockroom and store cleanliness. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

Requirements Minimum 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills. High school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
