As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager Level 1, youll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, helping fans find their favorite merchandise. Youll use your fandom knowledge to train new team members and support daily operations and sales goals. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills. Assist in managing the sales floor and support store leadership when needed. Open and close the store as required, handling cash register operations and sales transactions. Drive sales through product recommendations and knowledge of store promotions like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand sales targets and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT. Assist with store layout and merchandising updates. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ. Ensure store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management. Maintain organized stock rooms and tidy store environment. Support team development and foster a collaborative work environment. Perform any additional duties assigned by your Store Leader. What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills. A high school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
