As a Cashier, your responsibilities will include: Providing customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience by operating the cash register and scanner. Engaging customers warmly, greeting them with a smile, and ensuring a pleasant interaction throughout the entire transaction. Handling various monetary transactions including cash, check, gift cards, and credit/debit cards. Promoting the Extended Protection Policy for qualifying items. Maintaining brand standards at the front end area and the sales floor. Actively promoting the Fleet Farm customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives. As a Customer Service Team Member, you will be responsible for: Quickly and efficiently processing customer purchases while handling exchanges, returns, and complaints with effectiveness. Assisting customers as a resource and resolving any transactions discrepancies or cash register issues. Creating a welcoming atmosphere with friendly engagement from greeting to the conclusion of the transaction. Processing and managing all forms of payment accurately. Communicating effectively with the Manager on Duty and merchandise teams about out-of-stock products. Remaining knowledgeable about store offerings to assist customers with questions. Restocking items accurately and keeping assigned areas presentable. Delaying an outstanding shopping experience for customers. Promoting the Fleet Farm customer loyalty program and credit card initiatives positively. Job Requirements and Education: A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
