Job Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients/patients/residents. Your primary focus will be to plan, organize, and deliver effective physical therapy programs aimed at improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing deformities. Key responsibilities include: Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of clients affected by injury or disease. Creating and modifying personalized therapeutic plans based on client assessments. Educating clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises for home care. Implementing appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations. Staying current with research to enhance treatment methodologies. Flexibly adapting to varying schedules and assignments to meet departmental needs. You will collaborate with a range of professionals including providers, case managers, and third-party payers to ensure comprehensive care. Additionally, you may supervise assistants and provide training to peers in your areas of expertise. Qualifications Must possess the required education level according to state licensure. State licensure as a Physical Therapist is essential. A valid driver’s license may be required as applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers is mandatory within the first 60 days of employment.
