Part-Time Housekeeper & Family Assistant – Avon, IN (20 hrs/week) Warm, organized family seeking long-term support A welcoming and busy family of four in Avon, Indiana is seeking a part-time Housekeeper & Family Assistant to help maintain a clean, well-organized home and support with day-to-day household needs. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, tech-comfortable, and an excellent communicator who takes pride in creating a comfortable, well-functioning household. This position offers steady long-term hours, and the opportunity to become a valued and trusted part of the family’s household. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 8:00 AM to 2:00 or 3:00 PM ( guaranteed 20 hours /week) (Some flexibility for the right candidate) Start Date : ASAP The family is hoping to find someone who will stay long-term and become a valued and trusted part of their household. Key Responsibilities: • Handle household laundry (wash, dry, fold, and put away) • Keep the kitchen clean and dishes washed • Tidy and reset main living areas for a fresh, organized feel • Perform regular and deep cleaning of all rooms • Help with simple snack and meal prep • Run errands (returns, grocery shopping, post office, etc.) • Manage household inventory and supplies • Coordinate household maintenance appointments • Organize closets, pantry, and storage areas • Assist with event planning and household projects Household Details: • 3,600 sq. ft. home – 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms + finished basement • No pets in the home • No childcare duties Qualifications: • Excellent communicator who is comfortable providing updates and collaborating with the family • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (housekeeper, house manager, or family assistant) • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently • Friendly, proactive, and comfortable using basic apps and shared checklists/calendars • Strong references from past employers Additional Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be 18 years of age to apply Must have a valid drivers license Compensation & Benefits: • 2 weeks paid vacation • 4 sick/personal days • Paid federal holidays (if they fall on working days)
