JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State New Kensington is seeking candidates for a part time Head Baseball Coach.
Job Duties
Day-to-day operations, coaching and conditioning of athletes, practice and game preparation, and team travel.
The Head Coach will develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting and retention program as well as perform organizational tasks as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
The Head Coach will also be responsible for understanding and maintaining compliance with USCAA and PSUAC rules and regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of the sport and the ability to communicate well with team players.
Successful playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferable.
The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the academic and athletic success of the student-athlete, and to the highest of ethical standards.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties.
