Position Overview: As a Part Time After School Educator with Right At School, you'll have the exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing engaging before and after school programs that focus on learning through fun activities. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning while supporting schools and giving families peace of mind. Key Responsibilities: Daily Program Meetings: Participate in meetings to share ideas, review goals, and encourage team collaboration. Activity Planning: Organize and facilitate daily educational activities, ensuring they are aligned with our program’s objectives. Leadership: Model positive behavior and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children. Safety Monitoring: Ensure safety protocols are adhered to, including documenting attendance and incidents. Effective Communication: Engage with children, parents, and staff in a professional and approachable manner. Ideal Candidate Qualities: Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills. A team player who works well with others. At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 (preferred but not required). Ability to lift 25lbs. A passion for inspiring a love of learning and promoting healthy living. Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed. Requirements: Meet state-specific qualifications. Current First Aid and CPR certification (in-person). Clear tuberculosis test. Proof of MMR vaccination. Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma/GED required.
