Are you a motivated self-starter with a passion for people and a drive for results? Spherion Mid Ohio is partnering with a respected local company to help find a standout Outside Sales Representative ready to grow, close deals, and make meaningful business connections.
What You'll Step Into:
Location: Lexington, Ohio
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Industry: Business-to-Business (B2B) Engineering Retail Sales
Pay: Competitive salary with commission potential
Your Mission as an Outside Sales Rep:
You'll be the front line of new business development - identifying prospects, building relationships, and crafting winning solutions. Expect face-to-face meetings, customized proposals, and an opportunity to help local businesses succeed with your product knowledge and drive.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face client meetings
- Develop and present compelling sales proposals and service solutions
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Stay informed on the latest product/service offerings
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of proven B2B Retail Sales experience (Engineering background is a plus)
- Must have a proven track record interacting and selling to "Big Box" retailers
- You've consistently hit (or crushed!) your sales targets
- Strong communicator, presenter, and deal-closer
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule
- Clean driving record + valid driver's license
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
