As a Licensed Clinical Therapist/Independent Licensed Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population experiencing a variety of mental health conditions. You will provide individual and group therapy, ensuring tailored behavioral and mental health treatments are delivered effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build strong provider-patient relationships and collaborate with external care providers.
Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations.
Contribute to the training of our graduate students, enhancing their practical experience.
Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders.
Deliver treatment using evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Monitor treatment responses, tracking clinical symptoms, side effects, and making necessary adjustments.
Represent the practice in community events, presentations, and lectures.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring all regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
Current, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) in your state of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of post-Master's clinical experience.
Experience providing direct therapy services to individuals and families.
Proficient with technology for communication and medical documentation (Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS, or other EHRs).
Adept at working both independently and collaboratively.
The salary range for this position is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Compensation is influenced by factors such as local markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group complies with all applicable wage laws.
