About the Job - Our owner is also a driver so we understand the day to day! - Will train on Flatbed if you don't have experience Job Summary Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Flatbed trailer OTR $1,500 - $2,100 gross total weekly avg. pay $0.70 - $0.70 CPM 2,000 - 3,000 avg. miles per week No Driver Load/Unload 25% tarping No slip seating Home Time 5 - 10 expected days out You can stay out longer if you want to Get 2 days of home time for every 8 days worked Home at least 2 weekends per month Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
