Remedi SeniorCare is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Pharmacy Technician to join our team and make a difference in the lives of residents in long-term care facilities.
Location: On site at our closed-door pharmacy (962 Dorset Rd, Troy)
Schedule: 3rd shift: 4*10.5hr days 9pm-9:30am or 5*8.5hr days 10:30pm-7am. Weekend rotation required.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician with Remedi SeniorCare, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers over the phone and provide quick and courteous responses to their needs. You will also entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system.
Under the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for:
Provide over the phone customers to doctors and nurses
Efficient order entry and follow-up
Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies
Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input
Collaborating with Order Entry leadership to meet department goals
Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Must work with urgency and timeliness
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Current registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy is preferred (good standing)
Skills & Abilities:
Strong computer skills
Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
