Supply Chain: The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
We are looking to add a Manufacturing Supervisor to our UFO team. This role will be responsible for leading day-to-day responsibilities for the UFO department, ensuring safety, quality, reliability, and performance targets are met. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include: Champions safety programs and practices; proactively identify risks and drive resolution.
Maintains compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and all regulatory requirements.
Applies knowledge of TPM processes, equipment and system capability for challenging individual and facility standards.
Leads continuous improvement initiatives.
Develops a team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Delivers effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
Motivates team members to achieve plan goals The Perfect Blend: Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience preferred
Monitors and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, losses, downtime, and quality metrics.
Partners with Maintenance and Engineering to reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
Administer policies and procedures
Demonstrated planning and organization skills
Demonstrated front-line supervisory skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Must be authorized to work in the United States Foundational Ingredients: Requirements Regular and predictable attendance at the work site
This role requires regular presence on the plant floor
This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally
This role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
This role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally
This role may require off-shift and weekend work
