Looking for a full-time  Occupational Therapy Assistant   for a Skilled Nursing Facility in the Bronx, NY. We are offering competitive compensation, and  a  comprehensive benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a n Occupational Therapist.

Follows all regulations  and  guidelines of facility  including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.

Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.

Provides documentation of  patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.

Regularly discuss es  with supervising  Occupational Therapist  patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed .

Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient ’ s engagement  and  responses to treatment ,  modifies as necessary .

Requirements include:

Valid NY professional  license

Graduated  from an accredited  Occupational Therapy  Assistant program

Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities

New graduates are welcome
