Opened in the Fall of 2020, Apopka Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility on the North side of Apopka. Our community is full of dedicated and compassionate caregivers, and we are looking for additional team members to work with our at-risk patient population.

Our community has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing the needs of all individuals, carrying out a progressive treatment program, recording all pertinent information regarding the occupational therapy program, providing consultation to the nursing staff, and participating in utilization review to coordinate a total patient plan of care. The ideal Occupational Therapist will share our vision to provide the very best in patient care.

Qualifications: Must have a Minimum of Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and maintain a current license in our state. Must be registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc., as designated by the initials O.T.R. One full year of experience in a skilled nursing facility is desired. Ability to relate to and motivate patients for productivity. Able to cooperate with patients, families, peers, healthcare professionals, administrative personnel, students, and other staff. We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment.
