Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Setting

We're seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. An Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in helping patients develop the skills and abilities they need to live independently. This includes assisting patients with minimizing disability and developing skills and attitudes that increase independent functioning in an inpatient setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing prevention, habilitation, or rehabilitation services that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The ideal candidate will have good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills, and organizational skills. They will also be self-motivated and able to work independently with little direct supervision. A Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy is required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or Doctorate from an accredited program of Occupational Therapy. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Missouri is also required.
