Your responsibilities will include helping patients maintain proper hygiene, providing nourishment when appropriate, ensuring the safe transport and escort of patients within the facility and participating in daily facility functions under the supervision of a Nurse. You will provide quality care according to the medical plan and organizational policies, communicate professionally with patients, visitors, and medical staff, maintain a high level of organization, and provide excellent customer service.Job Duties & Essential Functions:Assist patients with personal hygieneTurn, reposition, and move patients between wheelchairs, seats, and bedsLift, move, and position patients at the nurse's requestProvide safe transport within the facility under the direction of the nurseClean and prepare stretchers for use by incoming and outgoing patientsAssist in discharging patients from PACU when assignedMaintain inventory and restock suppliesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentReport any incidents involving patient safety or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediatelyAdhere to all center policies regarding confidentiality as set forth by the Governing BodyMaintain all certifications as required by state and federal regulatory agencies as well as any credential required by the facilityAssist in other areas as needed and when workload permits.Perform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentStrong communication and attention to detailAbility to follow instructions clearlySolid clinical foundationAbility to lift and move patientsAbility to stand for long periods of timePreferred Qualifications:New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificateWork Schedule:Monday - Friday: Hours VaryHourly Pay Rate:$22.00Benefits:We aim to take care of our teammates the same way we take care of our patients.
