As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating and managing operational, administrative, and financial responsibilities in collaboration with nursing leadership. Your leadership will be crucial in mentoring your team of professional caregivers, ensuring they provide compassionate and competent patient care while facilitating effective patient access and communication. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support direct patient care provided by the nursing staff during your assigned shifts. Ensure high standards of patient care are consistently met in accordance with the hospital's mission. Develop, implement, and assess policies and services aligned with departmental goals. Collaborate with other departments to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives. Provide coaching and mentorship to unit-based staff. Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; a Master's in Nursing is preferred. Must have current New York State Registered Nurse registration or be eligible for licensure in New York State. Experience: Management experience is preferred.
