Hourly Pay Range: $64.960 - $83.820 - $102.680
The pay scale reflects what Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate will depend on various factors, including your experience, unique skills and abilities, education, and other related requirements.
What You Will Do: As a Bachelor’s prepared nurse, you will apply your clinical expertise in evidence-based nursing practice within the NICU. You will take on a leadership role, acting as a clinical expert and educator while impacting nurse-sensitive outcomes for our patients.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
2 Years of recent pertinent clinical experience
California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing
AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Certification provided by employee
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in a Master's program
Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center
Essential Functions:
Clinical Expert: Improve outcomes for selected patient populations and incorporate new techniques into nursing practice.
Educator: Assist nursing personnel in identifying learning needs and plan activities to meet them.
Research and Evidence-Based Practice: Collaborate with teams to implement relevant research and improve patient outcomes.
Resource Management: Monitor budgets for educational activities and maintain records for efficient tracking of learning and development needs.
Professional Development: Promote a culture of communication and growth among nursing staff.
Community and Leadership: Serve on committees and work with community organizations to enhance nursing education and promote the profession.
