JOB TITLE: Mental Health Therapist DEPARTMENT: Adult Outpatient Mental Health Clinic SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday / Day Shifts LOCATIONS: Rochester Mental Health Center (490 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621) Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 SUMMARY As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in our patients' lives by providing compassionate treatment that fosters their overall well-being and quality of life. RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment: Conduct interviews and observations to form comprehensive patient assessments and document findings meticulously. Relationship Development: Build a trusting therapeutic alliance with each patient; collaborate closely to set and review treatment objectives and desired outcomes. Treatment Plan Development: Create a detailed treatment plan based on initial assessments; coordinate with medical providers and adjust plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations. Caseload Management: Manage an active caseload while ensuring high-quality care and attention to each patient's individual needs. ATTRIBUTES Compassionate, warm, and focused on patient care. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Able to multitask and balance various responsibilities effectively. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree in a Human Services field is required. Two years of mental health experience is preferred. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, PhD, or relevant permit holder is required. A limited permit or license must be obtained within one year of hire. EDUCATION: MS (Required) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Roles in this position generally involve sedentary work, with the ability to occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force.
